A Presentation and a Sports Trivia Game!

Why did only Noelia do homework?

Anyway, after all the talking about sports you should be able to improvise a presentation.

 Not too bad, but I expected more on your side! Come on, make a little effort!

We meet a new classmate. His name is Lucas. Welcome, Lucas. He was a bit lost.But don’t worry because your classmates are very nice and they will help you. So will I!

After presenting the sport, we listened to the song “We are the Champions” and you had to fill in the gaps in the lyrics.

We also conducted a survey in the class.

·         What’s your name?

·         How old are you?

·         What year are you in?

·         What’s your favourite sport to practise?

·         When did you start?

·         How often do you practise it?

·         What’s your favourite sport to watch?

And we made cards for a Sports Trivia Game!

I see you are really competitive!

The questions you failed were:

·         In badminton, what do you use instead of a ball?

·         What’s the aim of ice skating? This caused a lot of disagreement. If you had listened to Noelia’s presentation, you would have known!

·         Name five sports you can DO. You only said: fencing and boxing. But we use DO with gymnastics, aerobics, Pilates, martial arts, karate, judo etc.

Next week, we are going to talk about present continuous. We are also going to describe pictures.
